Title:ORIENTATION OF STAFF IN COMPANY X
Abstract:Job coaching or induction is one of the foremost processes in the area of personnel. When coaching personnel, we think not only of first-time employees, but also of those who are already employed and have been transferred to another position or field of work because of organizational needs. An efficient coaching is rudimentary for satisfied and motivated personnel, as well as for organizational purposes since less time and fewer means are then needed to reach the objective. There are, however, many problems related to inadequate job coaching. Bad coaching reflects in absenteeism, fluctuation, accidents at work and in general dissatisfaction of workers. This is why we decided to analyse job coaching in Company X. In the theoretical part we discuss coaching as a whole. We analyse the principles and conditions of efficient personnel selection, the selecting process itself, and dedicate special attention to the section of job coaching. In the practical part we try to define by means of a research whether coaching contributes towards socialization of individuals in Company X, whether the personnel gets enough information related to their job, whether the company allows for the necessary help to trainees, and above all, whether the personnel is motivated for their future job. The findings serve as guidelines for our proposals listed in the final section of our diploma paper. We believe that these proposals could lead to improvements in Company X.
