Abstract:
Terminsko planiranje projektov je mogoče izvesti s pomočjo različnih metod in tehnik. Izbor metode in tehnike je odvisen od kompleksnosti ter narave projekta. S pravilno izbiro metode in tehnike lahko obvladujemo čas ter stroške izvajanja nekega projekta. Posledično se lahko izognemo zamudam in prekoračitvam predvidenih stroškov projekta. V diplomskem delu smo preučevali metode in tehnike terminskega planiranja za obvladovanje projektov. Izpostavili smo najpomembnejši osnovni metodi kritične poti CPM in PERT. Predstavili smo metode in tehnike planiranja na primerih realnih projektov v računalniškem orodju Microsoft Excel. Analizirali smo uporabnost tehnik planiranja projektov s programom Microsoft Project 2010. Z diplomsko nalogo smo raziskali, katera orodja in tehnike planiranja so najboljša za uporabo na določenih vrstah projektov.

THE USE OF METHODS AND TECHNIQUES OF NETWORK PLANNING IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Abstract:
Project planning can be done through a variety of methods and techniques. Selecting methods and techniques depends on the complexity and the particular nature of the project. With proper selection of methods and techniques we can control the time and cost of implementation of a project. Consequently, we can avoid delays and cost overruns of the project. This thesis studied the methods and techniques of scheduling project management. Based on a real project that we presented and analyzed in a computer tool like Microsoft Excel we used Microsoft Project 2010, various methods and techniques of project planning to optimize the project. In the thesis, we proposed which tools and planning techniques are best for use on specific projects.
