Izveden je bil v laboratorijskem okolju, kjer so bile obstoječe informacijske rešitve dopolnjene.

Title:INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND NET COLLABORATION PROCESESS
Abstract:The establishment of information technology at all levels of information management inside organisations saw major changes since the early days of this discipline. The volume, variety and complexity of information flowing into organisation have never been greater. An efficient process of information management ensures that the right information are available for processes that need them. Information management technologies on their own do not always give optimal results because their underlying formal business systems are linked only to a part of the business transaction process. Numerous shared information connected to business transactions, however, are still a part of the informal process, although they contain many useful elements of development of knowledge and efficiency. The basic question of this thesis are what factors contribute to establishing a modern and comprehensive information management process that organisations can implement to improve their reaction speed and quality in today's highly stressed times. Research according to the criteria of maturity model of information management evaluates effects on parameters of executive processes such as cost-effectiveness, speed and the quality of products. Based on previous acquired results we formed a business case model of recommended changes. The model contained changes to information request management and improved management processes. The model was tested in a controlled laboratory environment where existing IT solutions were complemented. We experimented with this concrete business case model by reiterating several processes and evaluating the effects that information management mechanisms have on business process parameters. The conclusion of this thesis establishes a new role for information management inside an organisation, its connectedness with IT services and network collaboration and the effect of parameter modification on organisational processes. Illumination of a new role of information management is the fundamental contribution of this thesis to the information science.
