Abstract:Social responsibility means to be responsible for the consequences of our actions, which individual, organization or any other institution leaves on society or environment. Irresponsibility of big companies and politics, desire for profit instead of interdependence and integrity lead into economic crisis. In whole world there are protests against current situation, differences between poorest and richest get bigger and the environment sources are exhausted. But economic, social and ecological problems are important questions, which security organs meet during preventing criminality. Graduation thesis perceives social responsibility and strong value principles as a way out from international and Slovenian social economic crisis. International organization for standardization present standard ISO 26000, which is standard for Social responsibility, and is not intended only for businesses but also include government, various institutions including police and all individuals. In the first place, we have to be responsible for our own and then we can ask for accountability from others.
