Abstract:	Tako kot se vsak dan veča količina proizvedenih produktov različnih vrst, tako z njimi narašča količina odpadne embalaže, katera je dandanes eden največjih problemov sodobnega časa. Prav tako se veliko premalo odpadne embalaže vrne nazaj in reciklira. Ker pa se ljudje iz dneva v dan bolj zavedamo nevarnosti odpadkov in onesnaževanja, smo se začeli resno ukvarjati s to problematiko. Z vstopom v Evropsko unijo in zaradi potrebe prilagajanja evropskim zakonom so se ukrepi povezani z odpadno embalažo še bolj zaostrili. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti odpadno embalažo in določena podjetja Savinjske regije, ki se ukvarjajo z zbiranjem in predelavo le te. Prav tako je opisan sistem zbiranja odpadne embalaže na področju Savinjske regije, ter dualni sistem zbiranja, katerega imajo v Nemčiji. Cilj diplomske naloge je primerjava sistema zbiranja odpadne embalaže v Sloveniji s sistemom, kakršnega ima Nemčija. Prav tako je cilj poiskati boljše rešitve v sistemu zbiranja odpadne embalaže in s tem razbremeniti okolje v Savinjski regiji, ter v Sloveniji.

Title:	Reorganization of waste packaging system in Savinjska area
Abstract:	As the number of various manufactured products increases every day, so does also the amount of waste packaging, which is one of the biggest issues of this area. The fact is that only a small part of waste packaging is recovered back and recycled. Because people are becoming increasingly more aware of the problem of waste and pollution, it is now being considered more seriously. The issue has become more important with the country's entry into the European Union and necessary compliance with European legal requirements. The purpose of this paper is to present waste packaging and waste management companies in the Savinjska region which are dealing with waste packaging. The paper also describes the collection system used in the region and dual collection system located in Germany. The goal of this paper is to compare waste packaging management in Slovenia with a system used in Germany. We also aim to find better solutions for waste packaging management and thus reduce the effect on the environment in the Savinjska region and Slovenia in general.
