Title:INTERCULTURAL DIFFERENCES IN BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
Abstract:The purpose of my graduation seminar was to find the diferences in intercultural communication. I thoroughly concentrated on verbal an non-verbal issues in communication while describing Slovenian business culture and also comparing it with the business culture of neighbouring Italy and Germany. There is also a short summary of basic differences between European and Arabic/Japanese business culture included. This work lead me to conclusion that every country/environment has its own culture, tradition and habits, thus before we begin to communicate with our foreign business partners, we should gather a plentiful of information about their business culture in terms of establishing and mantaining excellent business relations
Keywords:culture, business communication, verbal communication, non-verbal communication, communication in an intercultural context
