Abstract:S pomočjo dostopne literature in objavljenih raziskav smo opisali tehnike pridelave soje in nizkega fižola v Sloveniji, kjer smo ugotovili, da je ob pravilnem pristopu in ustrezni izbiri sorte gojenje soje in nizkega fižola lahko zelo uspešno.

Title:The effect of different cultivation systems on yield of soya bean and bush bean
Abstract:With the help of available literature and published research we described techniques for growing soybeans and kidney beans in Slovenia, where we found that with the right approach and appropriate choice of different varieties the growing of soybeans and kidney beans can be very successful. With the aim of investigating the impact of different production systems (conventional, integrated, organic, biodynamic, and control) on the yield, and some morphological characteristics of kidney beans, in 2012 we conducted a field trial in which we included two varieties of dwarf beans: Antea and Golden teepee. Kidney beans were sown by hand at 70 cm row spacing and species distance of 5 cm, where we considered the regulations for the cultivation of a particular production system. With the experiment, we found out that the production systems have an impact on the yield of kidney beans, where the highest yield per parcel was achieved in biodynamic cultivation (15.62 kg), slightly lower yield (14.57 kg) in organic production and lowest in the control plot (7.94 kg). The production systems affect the fresh mass of the pod, on average the heavy pods were in organic production (108.62 g) and the easiest with control parcels (85.25 g), and affect the dryness weight of pod kidney beans, stem diameter and also the length of the pod. The longest pods were by the biodynamic treatment (14.68 mm). The production systems on the other hand do not affect the number of seeds in a pod of kidney bean.
