Abstract:Brezplačna pravna pomoč je v Republiki Sloveniji urejena v Zakonu o brezplačni pravni pomoči, obstajajo pa tudi drugačne možnosti pravne pomoči za socialno ogrožene posameznike, kot je pro bono delo odvetnikov in pa dejavnost pravnega svetovanja s strani nevladnih organizacij. Pravni center za varstvo človekovih pravic nudi brezplačno pravno svetovanje na obalnem območju, Zavod PIP na območju Štajerske, Zavod za brezplačno pravno pomoč pa v Ljubljani. Pravico do pravnega varstva, ki vključuje dolžnost države, da omogoči brezplačno pravno pomoč socialno šibkejšim, zagotavlja tudi italijanska ustava.

Title:PRO BONO LEGAL ASSISTANTS IN SLOVENIA AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract:In Slovenia, free legal aid is regulated by the Law on Free Legal Aid, but there are also other possibilities of providing legal aid for socially vulnerable individuals, such as pro bono work of lawyers and the legal advice activities by NGO’s. Legal Centre for the Protection of Human Rights provides free legal advice in the coastal zone, PIP Institute in the area of Štajerska, The Institute for Legal Aid in Ljubljana. Legal protection, which includes the state’s obligation to provide free legal assistance to socially vulnerable individuals is also regulated in Italian Constitution.
