V zaključku so predstavljena lastna slikarska dela in postopek ustvarjanja.

Title:FEATURES OF A PSYCHOLOGICAL PORTRAIT
Abstract:The thesis Features of a psychological portrait deals with the portrait as a bundle of the portrayed person and the character of the portraitist. With their joint views, experience and characteristics they influence the development of portrait painting towards an increasingly deep psychological analysis. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. At the beginning the thesis presents circumstances, which enabled the portrait to get rid of the social function, and explains the role of the portrait. In continuation the thesis focuses on the importance and understanding of the own figure and the role of the portrait in the glorification or denial of this role. In expressing the inner state artist help themselves with the use of emotionally charged paints, dynamic compositions, symbolism and with focusing on the portrayed persons as subjects and not by following the problematic concept of the mimesis. Towards the end the thesis also presents views on the modern portrait and its role in today’s society, burdened with concepts. Also presented are all present in the process of the portrait creation: the portraitist, the portrayed person and the viewer, who with “consumption” or experiencing the art work completes this into a whole. This is followed by the presentation of three well known portraitists of the 20th century and their view on analyzing and showing the inner stayed of the depicted. The conclusion presents own paintings and the creation procedure.
Keywords:psychological portrait, inner state, paint, mimesis, relationship between the portraitist and the portrayed person
