Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali podružnične šole v Sloveniji, saj jih je pri nas kar nekaj, čeprav njihovo število z leti upada. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo najprej na kratko predstavili začetke podružničnih šol v Sloveniji, nato smo se osredotočili na podružnične šole v Sloveniji danes, na njihove posebnosti, kot je kombinirani pouk, predstavili smo še njihove prednosti in slabosti. Dotaknili smo se sodobnih problemov podružničnih šol, osredotočili smo se predvsem na njihovo ukinjanje. Na koncu teoretičnega dela smo predstavili položaj in pomen podružničnih šol za kraj, v katerem delujejo, ter njihovo sodelovanje z okoljem. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena raziskava, ki smo jo izvedli med učitelji podružničnih šol iz različnih regij Slovenije. Namen empiričnega dela je bil predstaviti pouk in dejavnosti ob pouku na podružničnih šolah, osvetliti sodelovanje med učitelji ter osebno zadovoljstvo učiteljev. Želeli smo spoznati odprtost podružničnih šol navzven, njihovo sodelovanje z okoljem in ugotoviti, kako, če sploh, izvajajo medgeneracijsko sodelovanje. Za konec smo želeli predstaviti položaj in pomen podružničnih šol za kraj, v katerem delujejo, ter ugotoviti morebitne posledice, ki bi jih prineslo ukinjanje podružnic. Pri tem smo preverjali obstoj razlik glede na delovno dobo učiteljev. V raziskavi je bila uporabljena deskriptivna in kavzalno-neeksperimentalna metoda empiričnega pedagoškega raziskovanja. Rezultati kažejo, da sta najbolj priljubljeni obliki pouka na podružnicah individualna oblika pouka ter delo v dvojicah, pri metodah pa metodi razgovora in razlage. Od učnih pripomočkov učitelji najpogosteje uporabljajo didaktične igre in druge didaktične pripomočke. Večina učiteljev na podružnicah izvaja interesne oziroma prostočasne dejavnosti, najpogosteje se izvaja literarne in druge družboslovne dejavnosti. Sodelovanje in komunikacija s kolektivom ter osebno zadovoljstvo na podružničnih šolah je dobro. Večina učiteljev sodeluje na prireditvah v kraju, veliko jih sodeluje še na drugačne načine. Pogostost izvajanja medgeneracijskega sodelovanja je dobra. Večina učiteljev meni, da je podružnična šola za kraj zelo pomembna. Učitelji menijo, da bi se z ukinitvijo podružnic zmanjšalo kulturno življenje kraja.

Title:	AFFILIATED SCHOOLS IN SLOVENIA AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE CONSERVATION OF PLACES
Abstract:	In the diploma thesis we discuss affiliated schools in Slovenia. There is a considerable number of affiliated schools in Slovenia, but their number has been lowering. In the theoretical part of the thesis the establishment of affiliated schools in Slovenia is presented. We focused on the present situation of those schools, their specialities, such as multigrade classes, and we present also their advantages and disadvantages. Contemporary problems of affiliated schools are exposed, especially their abolition. In the end of the theoretical part we point out the situation and the importance of affiliated schools for the local area and their cooperation with the surroundings. In the empirical part of the thesis we present the results of research, which was performed with the teachers of affiliated schools in different regions of Slovenia. The purpose of the empirical part was to present lessons and extra-curricular activities in affiliated schools, reflect on cooperation among teachers and their personal satisfaction. We wanted to determine the openness of affiliated schools, their cooperation with surroundings and to establish their position and importance for their area, and to establish the possible consequences of their abolition. We considered the differences regarding the period of employment of teachers. The research has been conducted with descriptive and causal non-experimental method. Results show that the most popular forms of lessons are individual and pair work, and the most popular methods are discussion and explanation. The most often teachers during the lessons use didactic games and other didactic equipment. The majority of teachers conduct extra-curricular activities, i.e. literary and other sociological activities. Cooperation and communication with other teachers and personal satisfaction at affiliated schools is good. The majority of teachers take part in performances in the local area, and many take part also in other activities. There is well established intergenerational cooperation. The majority of teachers think that affiliated schools play an important role in a local area. The teachers are convinced that abolition of affiliated schools will have negative effect on the local culture.
