Abstract:

Title:
TEMPERATURE IMPACT ON OPTIMAL POSITION OF SOLAR MODULES
Abstract:
Proposed master thesis examines the impact of temperature on the optimal position of solar modules, while taking into account the losses of the electrical energy as consequences of applied tracking system. Sun-tracking solar modules represents conversion of sunlight energy into electrical energy with higher yield. On the other hand, with higher yield, the temperature of solar modules start to increase, while efficiency of the solar modules start to decrease. So, the subject of this thesis is to determine the effect of the temperature on the optimal positions of solar modules at the desired maximum yield of whole solar power plant, taking into account the electrical losses. The analysis is performed for four days within a year. Simulations were performed in program tool Matlab, with using optimization algorithm Differential evolution.
