Abstract:	Zmanjševanje stroškov poslovanja je v vsakem podjetju in organizaciji stalnica. Ne glede na velikost prihodkov je potrebno zagotoviti, da z današnjo tehnologijo dosegamo kar največji izkoristek zaposlenega v delovnem procesu z manjšimi stroški na enoto proizvoda in dokumenta. Če želimo proces znotraj organizacije reorganizirati in ga posodobiti, moramo zagotoviti dobro opremo, nove dobre kadre, predvsem pa čas, namenjen za dobro pripravo pri prehodu na nov način dela. Ko govorimo o elektronskem upravljanju dokumentov znotraj organizacije, govorimo o veliki odgovornosti in velikem projektu. Sistemi za upravljanje dokumentov so zato pogosto kompleksni in tesno povezani z obstoječo infrastrukturo. Poenostavljajo in pospešujejo izvajanje različnih procesov na eni strani, ter po drugi strani zmanjšujejo stroške obdelovanja in hranjenja. Namen sistema za elektronsko upravljanje dokumentov je, da zagotovi nadzor nad vsemi vrstami dokumentov in poveča učinkovitost dela, ter s tem zmanjša stroške poslovanja. Danes število dokumentov in obseg dela zaradi njih, v organizacijah narašča povprečno od 10% do 15% letno. Vzroki za naraščanje števila dokumentov so preprosta izdelava s sodobno tehnologijo, zahteve zakonodaje in preprosto prenašanje dokumentov po elektronski pošti. Ker je večje količine dokumentov težje upravljati in nadzorovati, smo v nalogi predstavili eno od možnih rešitev elektronskega upravljanja dokumentov. V nalogi smo sprva predstavili teoretična izhodišča prenove poslovnih procesov. Opredelili smo osnovne pojme, ki so povezani s procesi in njihovo prenovo. Predvsem so nas zanimali cilji prenove in načini prenove poslovnih procesov, ter vloga managementa pri izvajanju prenove procesa. Za razumevanje raziskanega problema v nalogi, smo predstavili temeljne in podporne procese v visokošolskem zavodu in njihovo specifiko delovanja. V drugem delu naloge smo predstavili članico Univerze v Mariboru, Fakulteto za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko, podrobno njeno službo za finančno računovodske zadeve. Opravili smo analizo procesa vhodnega dokumenta in predstavili informacijsko rešitev elektronskega dokumentnega sistema. Magistrsko nalogo zaključujemo s sklepom, v katerem utemeljimo razloge za prenovo procesa dokumentov.

Title:	REFORMING THE ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Abstract:	Reducing operating costs is today quite common phenomenon in almost every company and organization. Irrespective of the size of the revenue it is necessary to ensure that with today's technology we achieve maximum efficiency of employee in the work process at a lower cost per unit of output and document. If you want to process within the organization to reorganize and modernize, we have to ensure good equipment, good new staff, and in particular the time intended for a good preparation of the transition to a new way of working. When talking about electronic document management within an organization, we are talking about the big responsibility and a big project. Document management systems are often so complex and closely linked to existing infrastructure. They simplify and accelerate the implementation of various processes on the one hand and on the other hand reduce the cost of processing and storage. The purpose of the system of electronic document management is to ensure the control of all types of documents and increase the work efficiency and thereby reduce operating costs. Today, the number of documents and scope of work for them in organizations is growing an average of 10% to 15 % annually. The reasons for the increase in the number of documents are simpler production with modern technology, legal requirements and easier transfer documents via e-mail. Since the large quantities of documents more difficult to manage and monitor, we present in this paper one of the possible solutions of electronic document management. The work originally presents theoretical foundations of business process reengineering. We have defined the basic concepts associated with processes and reengineering. In particular, we were interested in restoration targets and methods of business process reengineering, and the role of management in implementing the reform process. To understand the problem investigated in this paper, we present basic and support processes in higher education and the specifics of their operation. In the second part of the paper we presented a member of University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, detailing its work on financial accounting issues. We conducted an analysis of the process input document and present information solution of electronic document management system. Master's thesis concludes with a decision justifying the reasons for the renovation process documents.
