Abstract:	Pri raziskovanju vpliva televizijskih poročil na učence petega razreda smo na začetku največ pozornosti posvetili raziskovanju televizije. Tako smo v prvem delu teoretičnega dela najprej predstavili televizijo kot množični medij, osredotočili pa smo se tudi na njeno zgodovino. Nato smo pozornost namenili gledanju televizije, kjer smo ugotavljali, kakšne so navade gledanja ljudi različnih starosti in iz kakšnih razlogov najpogosteje gledajo televizijo. V nadaljevanju smo se osredotočili na otroke, opisali smo otrokove navade gledanja televizije; predvsem kaj so vzroki za gledanje, katere so med otroki najbolj priljubljene vsebine in kakšne omejitve jim starši postavljajo pri gledanju le-teh. V srednjem delu teoretičnega dela smo podrobno opisali vplive televizije na otroke. V uvodu opisa smo ločili med dolgoročnimi in kratkoročnimi vplivi, v nadaljevanju med pozitivnimi in negativnimi vplivi ter opise podkrepili s številnimi preteklimi raziskavami. Poleg teh vplivov smo posebej opisali še agresivno vedenje, ki je najpogostejši negativni učinek televizije. Ker se na televiziji, po mnenju mnogih, pojavlja ogromno nasilja, največ pa ga je ravno v času, ko televizijo spremljajo otroci, nas je v drugem delu zanimala otrokova izpostavljenost televizijskemu nasilju in kako le-to učinkuje nanje. V zadnjem delu teoretičnega dela smo se osredotočili na televizijska poročila, zopet smo poseben poudarek namenili nasilju; zanimalo nas je, koliko ga je in kako učinkuje na gledalce. Opisali smo tudi, kako različne vsebine v poročilih vplivajo na otroke, posebej smo se osredotočili na nasilje in preverjali, kakšen vpliv ima to za razliko od fiktivnega nasilja. Vpliv televizijskih poročil smo podrobneje opisali v empiričnem delu, kjer smo na podlagi postavljene hipoteze sestavili anketo, ki smo jo izvedli med učenci petega razreda. Rezultati so pokazali, da obstajajo razlike med dečki in deklicami v spremljanju in doživljanju televizijskih poročil. Ugotovili smo, da več dečkov kot deklic gleda televizijska poročila in da se razlike v doživljanju najbolj kažejo pri čustvih, ki jih učenci občutijo med gledanjem različnih vsebin televizijskih poročil.

Title:	THE INFLUENCE OF TELEVISION NEWS ON THE STUDENTS IN THE FIFTH GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Abstract:	When researching the impact of television reports on the students of fifth grade, we initially focused on researching the television. Thus, in the first part of the theoretical part we presented the television as a mass medium, then we focused on its history. Later on we focused on watching television, where we investigated the watching habits of people of different ages and for what reasons they most often watch television. Further on, we focused on children and described their habits of watching television, especially what are the reasons for watching, which are the most popular themes among children and what restrictions regarding watching television are placed on them by their parents. In the central part of the theoretical work, the effects of television on children are examined. In the introduction of the description there is a distinction between long-term and short-term effects, and furthermore also between positive and negative ones, where the descriptions were supported by many previous studies. In addition to these effects, we specifically described aggressive behaviour, which is the most common negative impact of the television. Because many people believe that a lot of violence appears on TV, in addition most of it is displayed just at a time when television is watched by children, we were interested in the children's exposure to television violence and how does it affect them. In the last part of the theoretical part, the focus is on television news, again, we paid special attention to violence, we were interested in how much of it is present and how does it affect the children. We described how various contents of television reports affect children, and we particularly focused on the violence and examined its impact compared to fictional violence. The impact of television reports is described in more detail in the empirical part, where we designed a survey based on formulated hypotheses and carried it out among students in the fifth grade. The results showed that there are differences between boys and girls in watching and experiencing television reports. We ascertained that more boys than girls watch television reports and that the differences in experiencing mostly show in the emotions that students experience while watching various television news contents.
