Abstract:
Tako svetovno kot tudi slovensko gospodarstvo se v zadnjih letih sooča s finančno in gospodarsko krizo. Še posebej v teh časih so za vsako podjetje bistvene kakovostne informacije o njegovem poslovanju v tekočem in preteklih letih. Postavljajo se nam različna vprašanja. Kako močno je pri nas kriza prizadela posamezne panoge oziroma gospodarske družbe? Katere dejavnosti je kriza najbolj prizadela in kakšne so posledice? Kako so različne gospodarske družbe poslovale pred krizo in kako po njej? To je le nekaj vprašanj, katerih odgovore želimo najti skozi pripravo magistrskega dela. Prav zato bomo v nalogi podrobneje analizirati poslovanje gospodarskih družb v obdobju od leta 2002 do 2012 in vpliv gospodarske krize na njihovo poslovanje od leta 2008 naprej. Na začetku naloge bomo izpostavili poglavitne vzroke za nastanek gospodarske in finančne krize ter vpliv krize na realni sektor. V osrednjem delu naloge bomo podrobno analizirali poslovanje gospodarskih družb v opazovanem obdobju, ki je sestavljeno iz dveh delov: pregled zbirnih rezultatov poslovanja gospodarskih družb in finančne analize poslovanja. V finančni analizi bodo izračunani kazalniki poslovanja gospodarskih družb in opredeljene njihove bistvene lastnosti. V sklepnem delu naloge bomo na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov natančneje opredelili ugotovitve naloge v povezavi s postavljeno hipotezo in zastavljenimi cilji.

ANALYSIS OF THE PERFORMANCE OF COMPANIES IN THE PERIOD 2002 TO 2012
Abstract:
Both global as well as the Slovenian economy has been in last few years faced with financial and economic crisis. Especially in these times is very essential for any business quality information about its operations in the current and previous years. Several questions have been opened. How strong the crisis hit specific sectors and companies? Which activities were the hardest hit and what are the consequences of this crisis? How are different companies operated before the crisis and how afterwards? These are just a few questions on which we want to get the answers in our research. That is why we will transfer analyzed in more detail the operation of companies in the period from 2002 to 2012 and the impact of the economic crisis on their business from 2008 onwards. At the beginning of our study we will underline the main causes of the economic and financial crisis and their impact on the real sector. In the central part of the research we will analyze the operation of companies in the observed period, which is composed of two parts: an overview of aggregated results of the companies' business and the financial analysis of operations. In the financial analysis we will calculate the business performance indicators and make the definition of their essential properties. In the final part of the research we will use the results to more precisely determine the findings of the research and its relation to the hypothesis. At the same time we will analyze whether we were successful in achieving the objectives of the research.
