Abstract:
Na začetku diplomskega dela bomo opisali nekatere topološke lastnosti in rezultate v zvezi z njimi. V drugem poglavju bomo definirali kontinuume in si pogledali nekaj osnovnih primerov le-teh. Prav tako si bomo ogledali zanimiv način konstrukcije nerazcepnih kontinuumov. V tretjem poglavju se bomo seznanili s tem, kaj so kompozanti kontinuumov in kakšno vlogo imajo ireducibilni kontinuumi pri tem. Na koncu bodo sledili najpomembnejši izreki o preštevanju kompozantov kontinuumov.

Title:
Counting composants of continua
Abstract:
At the beginning of the graduation thesis we describe basic concepts of topological properties and some results associated with them. In the second part we define the notion of a continua and get to look at some basic examples of these. We will also look at an interesting method of constructing indecomposable continua. In the third part we introduce the notion of composants of continua and how they are connected to irreducible continua. In the last part we present the most important theorems about counting the composants of continua.
