Abstract:	Diplomsko delo predstavlja naše dosedanje delo v organizaciji, ki proizvaja pnevmatike za osebna in tovorna vozila. Imeli smo priložnost biti del tima planerjev transporta surovega materiala, ki je eden ključnih členov v verigi proizvodnje pnevmatik. Podjetje je med vodilnimi v svoji stroki in hkrati ves čas nudi izobraževanja svojim zaposlenim, da bi delali še bolj učinkovito. Planerji transporta so del verige planerjev, znotraj katere delujejo še planerji in skladiščniki surovega materiala. Njihovo delo je zelo povezano, tako da mora biti komunikacija med njimi neprekinjena. Med samim delom smo se bolje spoznali z delom planerjev transporta, sčasoma pa tudi sami začeli planirati uvoz pošiljk v skladišča posameznih držav. Spoznali smo, da je za zmanjšanje stroškov prevoza zelo pomembna pravilna uporaba incoterm klavzul in dnevno aktivno delo na področju planiranja pošiljk in izračunavanja stroškov. Zelo pomembna je časovna učinkovitost v kombinaciji s stroški transporta. Delo je lahko tudi stresno, vendar nikoli dolgočasno.

Title:	Planning of raw material transportation in international company
Abstract:	Diploma represents our work in an organization that produces tyres for all kind of vehicles. We had the opportunity to be part of the team of shipment planners that manage transportation of raw materials, which is a major contributing department in the Supply chain of managing the goods flow of production. The company is one of the leading in its profession and at the same time it offers training for their employees in order to work more effectively. Shipment planners for raw material are part of supply chain of raw materials, which in addition to the shipment planners, it is made up of raw material planners and raw material stores. Their work is very connected so that communication between them must be strong and happen continuously. During the work we get to know better work of shipment planners and eventually start to plan the importation of shipments in warehouses. We realized that to reduce the cost of transport is very important using correct incoterms and produce active work in the field of planning and costing. Time effeciency is very important in connection with costs of transportation. The work can also be stressful, but never boring.
