Abstract:
Diplomska naloga opisuje trende svetovnih potreb po električni energiji in vlogo obnovljivih virov električne energije. Osredotoča se na fotovoltaiko in opiše njeno vlogo v skupku različnih virov električne energije. Fotovoltaiko analizira z vidika tržišča, industrije, tehnologije in predstavi trende podpiranja fotovoltaike s strani različnih držav. Diplomsko delo predstavi tudi eno izmed možnosti postavitve fotonapetostnega sistema na objektu manjšega podjetja in analizira smiselnost investicije v tak sistem glede na dane tržne razmere.

Title:
The future of photovoltaics
Abstract:
This graduate work presents today’s trends in electric energy use and demand and the role of renewable sources in this segment. The focus is on photovoltaics ain its place in the renewable energy sources. Photovoltaics is analysed in terms of its corresponding market, industry, technology and government support. The paper also presents a study of installing a photovoltaic system on a building of a small company and analyses its investment sense in a given market conditions.
