Projekt Optimizacija poštnega omrežja zagotavlja Pošti Slovenije dolgoročno vzdržno, stabilno in uspešno poslovanje. Cilj projekta je učinkovitejše poslovanje oz. lažje in boljše prilagajanje potrebam uporabnikov ter poslovnim potrebam, ki so posledica sprememb okolja in navad uporabnikov. Pošta Slovenije v okviru projekta izvaja proces preoblikovanja stalnih pošt v pogodbene pošte in še pred tem centralizacijo dostave.

Title:TRANSFORMATION OF THE POSTAL NETWORK OF POŠTA SLOVENIJE
Abstract:Thesis deals theoretically with the state of the postal network in the Post of Slovenia and shows the possibility of effective improvements to reduce the costs of society, with the project Optimization of the postal network. Project Optimization of the postal network provides the Post of Slovenia long-term sustainability, stable and successful business. Project objective is more efficient operation of business, easier and better adaptation to the needs of users, as well as business needs, which result from changes in the environment and habits of users. Post of Slovenia is implementing the transformation process of permanent post offices in to contract post units, within the framework of the project, and prior to that, centralization of delivery. Contract post unit is one of the organizational forms of post offices that in principle work the same as other post offices. The thesis is focused on them. Mutual comparisons with years of international experience in other European countries and good practice examples suggest, that contractual postal units are efficient and economical form of supply of services for the universal postal service provider, as well as contractors and, of course, especially for users of postal services. Since the contract postal units in Slovenia are relative novelty, we wanted to examine with a survey how the contract postal units are accepted among locals and ultimately assess their satisfaction. It can be concluded, that the overall impression of respondents to contract post units is positive.
