V zadnjem obdobju se v Sloveniji zaradi energijsko učinkovite gradnje in obvladovanja novih tehnologij pojavljajo sodobne arhitekturne zasnove lesenih montažnih objektov v obliki tipskih in individualnih projektov.

Title:TIMBER FRAME CONSTRUCTION
Abstract:Slovenia is one of the most forested lands in Europe, therefore the use of wood in different areas is very common. New technologies and concepts of energy efficient buildings have led to attractive and fresh architectural designs in timber prefabricated houses. Because of increasing environmental awareness and the environmental impact of the global economy, as well as energy standards and the desire for living in comfort, we can also sense the changes in the mindset of the investors, which are more and more in favor of timber houses. The purpose of the master thesis is to explain different concepts of timber construction, analyze the construction by monitoring the building site, and introduce the implementation of the details in a prefabricated timber house. This master thesis also aims to show different methods for calculating the stability of various structural systems. Most of the modern, one-family, timber houses are built in the frame construction or in the planar frame system. This master thesis highlights the main differences between the two systems and provides a static analysis of the construction elements under the horizontal loads. The capacity of elements for the transfer of horizontal loads, such as timber diagonals and oriented strand boards, was checked with equations given in SIST EN 1995-1-1: 2005. Using those results the type of construction was able to be determined.
