Abstract:Izhodišča. Namen magistrskega dela je bil s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika raziskati in ugotoviti, ali patronažne medicinske sestre Slovenije poznajo in razumejo izraz »profiliranje dela« in ali ta bistveno prispeva k uspešnemu delu patronažnih medicinskih sester. Metodologija raziskovanja. Rezultati.

Title:PROFILING OF WORKS FOR THE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNITY NURSES' WORK DUTIES
Abstract:Introduction. The aim of the thesis was to research, using a questionnaire, whether community nurses in Slovenia are familiar with the term »profiling of work« and whether it significantly contributes to the successful task management of community nurses. Research methodology. We carried out a research using a relevant sample of 279 community nurses in some of the community nursing centres in Slovenia. We used a questionnaire which was made for the purpose of this research. The research was based on self-reports on knowledge, understanding and importance of profiling of work in performing their duties, norms and burn out syndrome. We used different methods to analyse the data: acquiring data from international data bases, descriptional method, questionnaire survey, the comparative method and the descriptional statistics. The hypotheses were tested using the binomial tests. Results. We discovered that 51 per cent of the community nurses surveyed are neither aware of nor understand profiling of work sufficiently. The working norm is inadequate in 35 per cent and 77 per cent of the nurses surveyed are familiar with and have experienced symptoms of the burn out syndrom. Conclusion. We established that work profiling is a key element in successfully performed tasks of community nurses in Slovenia. On the basis of the results we suggest the presentation of the model of profiling of work at community nursing conferences, as well as the analysis of the success of profiling of work in working processes, the presentation to the medical centres' managements and implementing it in state laws.
Keywords:community nurse, satisfied patient, profiling of work, succesful task management.
