Abstract:	POVZETEK Zakon o pacientovih pravicah in Zakon o duševnem zdravju sta zelo pomembni listini, ki bi ju morali poznati vsi zaposleni v socialnovarstvenih ustanovah oziroma vsi, ki se ukvarjajo z osebami z motnjo v telesnem in duševnem razvoju. Vsi skupaj bi si morali prizadevati za stalno boljši standard pacientov in s tem tudi njihovih pravic. Vemo, da se bomo morali za to truditi zelo dolgo časa, vendar bi moral biti del managementa v vsaki neprofitni organizaciji usmerjen v vpeljevanje novitet s področja pacientovih pravic in dolžnosti, saj se mora vsak pacient intudi vsak zaposleni, ki s pacienti dela, zavedati pomena pravic. V teoretičnem delu magistrskegadela smo predstavili relevantno literaturo s področja Zakona o pacientovih pravicah, Zakona o duševno motenih, Mednarodne konvencije o varovanju in spodbujanju pravic in dostojanstva invalidov, s poudarkom na duševno motenih. Pregledali smo literaturo o managementu in vodenju ter vplivu managementa na kakovost zdravstvenih storitev z izboljšanim seznanjanjemz Zakonom o pravicah pacientov z motnjo v telesnem in duševnem razvoju. Predstavili smo tudiCenter za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo Črna na Koroškem. V drugem, empiričnem delu magistrskega dela smo predstavili rezultate raziskave, ki smo jo izvajali maja letos v Centru za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo Črna na Koroškem v celotnem delovnem kolektivu. Anketnih vprašalnikov niso izpolnili vsi zaposleni, saj jih je kar nekaj odklonilo sodelovanje, nekaj pa je bilo tudi neustrezno rešenih anketnih vprašalnikov, zato smo jih zavrgli. Vprašalnik je bil sestavljen iz 24 vprašanj. Raziskati smo želeli seznanjenost zaposlenih v Centru za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo Črna na Koroškem s pravicami oseb z motnjami v telesnem in duševnem razvoju, s katerimi se vsakodnevno srečujejo. Rezultati so pokazali, da je s pravicami seznanjena slaba polovica zaposlenih.

Title:	The role of managment in asserting rights of persons with disabilities in physical and mental development
Abstract:	ABSTRACT Patient rights act and Mental health act are very important documents which should be known to all employees in social care institutions or to all, who work with persons who have disability in physical and mental development. Altogether should strive for permanently better standard of the patients and hereby, for their rights. We know that we will have to work hard for a long time in order to achieve this; however, a part of management in every non-profit organization should be focused on bringing in novelties from the area of patient’s rights and duties, because every patient as well as every employee who works with the patients, has to be aware of the meaning behind the rights. In the theoretical part of the Master’s thesis we introduced a relevant literature from the area of the Patient rights act, the International convention on the protection and the promotion of the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities, with the focus on the mentally disordered persons. We studied the literature about management and guidance and about the influence of the management on the quality of health services through improvement in informing people of the Law on the rights of persons with disability in physical and mental development. We also introduced the Center for Training, Occupation and Care Črna na Koroškem. In the second, empirical part of the thesis we introduced the results of the research, which we carried out in May, among all the employees at the Center for Training, Occupation and Care Črna na Koroškem. We did not acquire the survey questionnaires from all the employees, as some refused to cooperate; additionally we also received some improperly completed questionnaires which we were forced to discard. The questionnaire consisted of 24 questions. We wanted to research how the employees of the Center for Training, Occupation and Care Črna na Koroškem are familiar with the rights of persons with disabilities in physical and mental development, whom they interact with every day. The results showed that less than half of the employees are familiar with the rights.
