Abstract:	Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz petih delov. V prvem delu predstavljamo opredelitev problema diplomskega dela, cilje in teze, predpostavke ter uporabljene metode pri pisanju diplomskega dela. V drugem delu predstavljamo vojaško vodenje, v tretjem delu vojaški tim. V četrtem delu se osredotočamo na razpravo glede na opredelitev problema diplomskega dela in v zadnjem delu verificiramo predpostavke in povzemamo glavne ugotovitve. Formiranje timov tako v civilnih kakor tudi v vojaških organizacijah je postalo eden ključnih načinov za povečanje učinkovitosti teh organizacij. Zato danes vse sodobne vojske koristijo timsko obliko organiziranosti za soočanje z izzivi, naj bo to v boju ali pa v mirnodobnem času. Izgradnja vojaškega tima ni lahka naloga in tima tudi ne moremo formirati čez noč. Da bi bil tim učinkovit, potrebuje za svoj razvoj čas. Uspešen vojaški tim svoje naloge opravlja hitro, učinkovito in brez nepotrebnih medsebojnih zapletov. Značilnosti takega tima so: jasno vodenje, razdelitev vlog, usklajenost, kohezija, zaupanje in skupni cilj. Bistvo za njegovo sestavo je poznavanje podrejenih, poštenost in objektivnost pri delu z njimi, vodenje z zgledom in sprejemanje lastne odgovornosti poveljnika za stanje v enoti. Ključni element za sestavo uspešnega vojaškega tima je vodja tima oziroma poveljnik tima, znanje in sposobnost vojaškega vodenja pa mu to omogočata. Poleg znanja in sposobnosti vojaškega vodenja pa potrebuje tudi določene osebne lastnosti in strokovna znanja, da lahko to delo opravlja. Pomembno je tudi dobro poznavanje samega sebe, izbor stila vodenja, postavljanje ciljev vojaške organizacije pred svoje lastne cilje, visok nivo odgovornosti in volja do dela.

Abstract:

The thesis is composed of five parts. In the first part we define the problem addressed in the thesis and present the objectives and theses, assumptions and methods used in writing the thesis. In the second part we provide insight into military command and in the third part into the military team. In the fourth part we discuss the definition of the thesis problem, while in the last part we verify the assumptions and summarize the main findings. The formation of teams in both civil and military organizations has become one of the key methods to increase the effectiveness of these organizations. Therefore, all modern armies today use the team-based form of organization to meet the challenges, whether in combat or in peacetime. Forming a military team is not an easy task and a team cannot be formed overnight. It requires time to develop and become effective. A successful military team performs its tasks quickly, efficiently and without unnecessary mutual complications. The characteristics of such a team are: clear command, division of roles, coordination, cohesion, trust and a common goal. The essence of forming the team lies in subordinate knowledge, honesty and objectivity in dealing with them, guiding by example and adopting the commander's own responsibility for the condition of the unit. The key element in forming a successful military team is the team leader or team commander, mainly owing to his knowledge and ability of military command. In addition to the skills and abilities of military command, he should also possess certain personality characteristics and professional skills in order to perform that work. Moreover, it is very important to know oneself, select the leadership style, prioritize the goals of a military organization over personal goals, and show a high level of responsibility and desire to work.
