Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo raziskali različne možnosti nadgradnje embalaže v inteligentno embalažo. V tem kontekstu smo embalažo opredelili, spoznali njene naloge in različne embalažne materiale. Z raziskavo smo želeli odkriti probleme, ki so neposredno povezani z uvedbo novosti, kot so prilagoditev temperature v proizvodnih prostorih, pakirnih prostorih in skladiščih, saj so časovno temperaturne nalepke ireverzibilne. Raziskovali smo tudi prednosti in slabosti dodajanja kromosomnih barvil ali časovno temperaturnih nalepk na embalažo. Odkrili smo, da se zaradi dodanega inteligentnega elementa embalaži poveča njena cena. Povečata se tudi zadovoljstvo in zaupanje kupcev, hkrati pa se zmanjša možnost napak v poteku hladne verige. S tem povečamo tudi pozornost vseh sodelujočih v hladni verigi in njihov odziv na morebitne napake, kar nam zmanjša možnost odpoklica izdelka zaradi neustreznosti v transportu in skladiščenju.

Title:	Development of intelligent packaging in the dairy Celeia d.o.o.
Abstract:	The thesis examines different options for upgrading the existing packaging into intelligent packaging. Within this context the packaging was defined, together with its tasks and various packaging materials. The research aimed at defining the problems directly linked to the implementation of innovations, like adjustment of temperature in production, packaging and storage spaces, since time-temperature indicators are irreversible. The research also included the positive and negative effects of labelling the packaging with thermochromic inks and time-temperature indicators. It was discovered that the additional intelligent element increases the price of the packaging, increases the satisfaction and trust of consumers, while at the same time lowers the chances of faults in the cold chain. This also enhances the attention of all involved in the cold chain and their response to possible faults, which lowers the possibility of product recall because of inappropriate conditions during transport and storage.
