Abstract:Diplomsko delo proučuje modeliranje organskih oblik, natančneje človeških organov z metakroglami.

Title:MODELING OF HUMAN ORGANS WITH METABALLS
Abstract:This diploma work studies modeling of organic shapes, specifically human organs with metaballs. This is a technique for creating 3D models with blending primary objects. We observed how difficult this technique is in practical use and what are best practices in blending objects to create the desired shape. We have verified the quality of 3D models when rendering and examine the possibilities for their further use. Since organic shapes require smooth geometry, high level of blending their primary objects and smooth transitions between them, they are known for being computational demanding.
Keywords:modeling, metaballs, implicit surfaces
