Abstract:Obravnavamo temo mednarodnega sodelovanja in kako nanj vpliva kultura države.

Title:CULTURAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SPAIN AND SLOVENIA
Abstract:It considers a theme of international cooperation, and how the culture of the country affects it. In the world, there are a number of different cultures. An individual who has not had the opportunity to visit different cultures, probably can not imagine how the other culture functions and that there are different from the one that an individual knows. He does not realize that on the other side of the world (in other cultures) things work differently. If an individual is attending a new culture without the prior information about it, he or she can be experiencing physical and emotional discomfort. This can be largely avoided with prior information on the culture. The acquired knowledge can assist him or her in understanding, integration and cooperating with the new company, a different culture. In the graduate seminar, we examined the differences of cultures of two countries, Slovenia and Spain. We tried to find out first for each country what is their daily and business culture, and how these areas differ between countries. We correctly predicted that the daily culture of the countries are different, and rejected the presumption that the business culture is the same. Namely, it is affected by the daily culture of each country. We also got the confirmation that with prior information on the culture gives an advantage within the new culture.
