Podrobneje bom opisala tri načine uporabe matrik v ekonomskih procesih: input-output analizo, markovske verige in linearno programiranje.

Title:EXAMPLES OF THE USE OF MATRICES IN ECONOMICS
Abstract:Mathematics is a part of our everyday life. We get to know it by counting candies, learning basic mathematical operations. Multiplication tables lead us to more complex problems, such as derivative functions, integrals, probabilities and matrices. On the other hand, economy is very important in our lives as well. As children, we start to save our money, making some by saving it on bank accounts and sooner or later we start to pay attention on what is happening in our country and worldwide economy. Mathematics and economy are connected and in this work I will present three examples of using matrices in solving economic problems – input-output analysis, markov chain models and linear programming.
Keywords:matrices, input-output analysis, markov chain models, linear programming
