Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča. Akutni koronarni sindrom je glavni vzrok umiranja pacientov z koronarno boleznijo srca. Nastane zaradi nenadnega neravnovesja med porabo in dotokom kisika v srčno mišico. Skupna značilnost pacientov z akutnim koronarnim sindromom je ishemična srčna bolečina. Namen. Namen diplomskega dela v teoretičnem delu je predstaviti akutni koronarni sindrom in strokovno prvo oskrbo s strani zdravstvenega osebja. Želeli smo ugotoviti osveščenosti ljudi o ukrepanju v primeru akutnega miokardnega infarkta in mnenje laičnega prebivalstva o pomenu prve pomoči in izobraževanja s tega področja. Metodologija raziskovanja. Uporabili smo deskriptivno in analitično metodo raziskovanja s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Ob pregledu strokovne domače in tuje literature smo opisali akutni koronarni sindrom. Rezultati. Sklep. Prepoznavanje ishemične bolečine s strani laične javnosti je zelo pomembno. Tako bistveno izboljšajo možnost preživetja posameznika ob pojavu akutnega miokardnega infarkta. Ob pojavu nenadne srčne smrti pa nemudoma izvedejo temeljne postopke oživljanja.

Results. 90% of respondents chose chest pain as the main symptom recognition of acute myocardial infarction. Many of the respondents (68%) would also know how to properly administer first aid. All respondents think that it would be good to have additional training in first aid. Resolution. Identifying the ishemic pain from the general public is very important. It significantly improve the chance of survival of the individual at the onset of acute myocardial infarction.
