Najuporabnejše metode so daktiloskopska metoda, analiza DNK in zobni status.

Abstract:Crime scene investigations and forensic pathology intermingle. Besides that, at investigating plane crashes they are combined with other services such as the police, aircraft accident and incident investigation service, the group for mass disaster victim identification, firefighter units, disaster assistance and rescue forces, medical service, as well as the army and different rescue services in some cases. Their co-operation plays an important role for successful investigation at plane-crash accidents and other incidents. As it is evident from the analysed statistic data, the annual number of plane crashes in Slovenia fluctuates. Adria, the biggest Slovenian airline company, suffered their most severe accident at national level in 1981 on Corsica. All the 180 passengers including the members of the crew died. The victims were identified with different procedures by the investigators at the scene of the accident. Dead-body identification is most frequently done by means of the nine body parts. The most useful methods are the dactyloscopic method, the DNA-analysis and the teeth status. The rest of the methods, presented in the diploma work, are useful too. However, investigators only use them in cases when the prospects of using the first three methods are small. In addition to the role of crime scene investigations and forensic pathology at identifying unknown dead bodies, a brief analysis of the plane-crash accident on Corsica is presented.
