Abstract:
V projektni nalogi so predstavljene osnove dimenzioniranja z uporabo modela razpor in vezi.

Title:
Basics of Strut-And-Tie model designing
Abstract:
This paper presents the basics of dimensioning using the strut-and-tie model. The stress field in structural elements is the basis for selecting the strut-and-tie model, thus the calculation of the stress field and the course of the trajectories of the principal stresses in the case of a simply supported beam, which is usually dimensioned using the Bernoulli-Euler hypothesis, is shown. Also, the basic elements and the procedure for selecting the strut-and-tie model through the principal stresses’ directions in structural elements on the basis of elastic analysis with the finite element method are explained. Some cases with possible choice of the strut-and-tie model are also shown.
