Abstract:
Diplomsko delo na splošno obravnava zasebnost na delovnem mestu, konkretneje pa problem uporabe interneta na delovnem mestu. Obdelani so tudi najpomembnejši mednarodni in nacionalni pravni akti s tega področja. Zasebnost je ena temeljnih človekovih pravic. Pravico do zasebnosti ima tudi delavec na svojem delovnem mestu, možnost njenega uveljavljanja pa je odvisna od delodajalčevega nasprotnega interesa. Zaradi spreminjanja življenjskih razmer je pravico vedno težje opredeliti, saj se njen obseg in pomen stalno spreminja. Hiter tehnološki razvoj predstavlja grožnjo zasebnosti na delovnem mestu, saj nove oblike tehnologije omogočajo vedno večjo stopnjo nadzora nad delavcem. S pojavom interneta pa so se problemi zasebnosti prenesli tudi v virtualni prostor.

PRIVACY ON WORKING PLACE
Abstract:
This diploma thesis provides a general overview of privacy in a workplace and deals specifically with issues, related to the use of the Internet within the workplace. In addition it examines the most relevant international and national legal acts in this field. Privacy is one of the fundamental human rights. Although the employees are entitled to privacy in their workplace, the possibility of exercising this right, however, depends on the opposing interest of the employer. Due to changing living conditions it is becoming increasingly difficult to pinpoint the right to privacy, as its scope and importance vary constantly. The rapid technological progress poses a threat to privacy in the workplace, as new forms of technology provide an increasingly effective surveillance over the employee. With the arrival of the Internet, privacy issues also began to emerge in the virtual space.
