Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi bomo opisali načine za zagotavljanje varnosti podatkov, ki se nahajajo na računalniških strežnikih.To obsega varnostno kopiranje podatkov, upravljanje z njimi in izbiro ter pridobivanje teh podatkov. Prav tako se bomo posvetili vzdrževanju računalniških strežnikov, kar obsega vzdrževanje računalniške opreme in tudi samo postavitev računalniške opreme v prostor in izbiro ustrezne opreme.Pogledali si bomo tudi kako se pripravimo na odpoved ali nadgradnjo sistema in zagotovimo ustrezne postopke pri migraciji sistema, da bo potekala čim bolj gladko.V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge bomo implementirali in preizkusili program za varnostno kopiranje podatkov in program za migracijo strežnika.

SERVER REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE
Abstract:
In this graduate thesis we will describe ways of safe file keeping on computer servers. This includes backup of the data, managing the data and selection of the data to be backed up. We will also take a look at server maintenance, which includes computer hardware maintenace and also the placement of computer systems and appropriate hardware selection. Next we will look at ways to prepare our system for possible failure or upgrade and describe how to ensure appropriate procedures for smooth system migration. For the practical part of the thesis we will implement a program for server backup and a program for server migration.
