Abstract:	Cilj raziskave je bil analizirati prirejo kunčjega mesa z ekonomskega vidika. V ta namen je bil za prirejo kunčjega mesa na kmetiji razvit tehnološko-ekonomsko simulacijski model s pripadajočimi podmodeli za lastno pridelano krmo. V model so zajeti glavni tehnološko-ekonomski parametri prireje mesa, skupni stroški, vrednost kmetijske proizvodnje, koeficient ekonomičnosti in finančni rezultat. Osrednja metodologija raziskave je bila metoda kalkulacij skupnih stroškov. V analizo je bila vključena skupina 100 kuncev za pitanje. V nadaljevanju raziskave je bila izvedena tudi anketa o potrošnji kunčjega mesa in definiciji profila potencialnih potrošnikov. Izsledki ankete lahko služijo kot pomoč pri iskanju novih trgovskih poti na relaciji rejec-potrošnik. Reja kuncev se je izkazala za ekonomsko upravičeno, saj je koeficient ekonomičnosti znašal 1,04. Na podlagi rezultatov anket smo ocenili, da potrošniki ocenjujejo kakovost mesa z oceno 4 na 5-stopenjski lestvici. V prehrani ga uporabljajo 1- do 2-krat na mesec, predvsem zaradi njegove kakovosti. Meso kuncev kupujejo neposredno pri rejcu, za dostavo na dom pa so pripravljeni plačati do 10 % redne prodajne cene. Potrošnikom je krmni obrok kuncev zelo pomemben.

Title:	Economics of rabbit meat production
Abstract:	The aim of the research was to analyse the increase of rabbit meat production from an economic point of view. A technological-economic simulation model with appurtenant submodels for own stern produce was developed with the aim to increase rabbit meat production on farms. The model includes the main technological-economic parameters of meat production, total costs, value of agricultural production, economy coefficient and financial result. The method of calculating total costs was the central methodology of the research. A group of 100 rabbits for fattening was included in the analysis. An analysis of the consumption of rabbit meat and the definition of a potential consumer profile was conducted for further research. Results of the analysis can be used to aid in searching for new trade routes between the breeder and the consumer. Rabbit breeding proved to be economically justified; the economy coefficient was 1.04. Based on the results of the poll we estimated that consumers rate the meat quality on a 5-point rating scale with a 4. They use it once to twice a month, mainly because of the meat quality. Consumers buy rabbit meat directly at the breeders, for home delivery they are prepared to pay up to 10% of the ordinary selling price. The feed ration of rabbits is crucial to the consumer.
