Abstract:Z državljanstvom najlažje povežemo posameznika z državo, to razmerje pa vzpostavlja odnos pravic in obveznosti. Nobena država ne more posegat v suverenost druge države. Državljanstvo Evropske

Title:SLOVENIAN CITIZENSHIP AND CITIZENSHIP OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract:We can easily connect a person with a country and this connection establishes a relationship of rights and obligations. The Convention on Nationality in 2. a article also defines citizenship as a permanent legal bond between an individual and the state. Citizenship can also be defined as legal status, not only as a legal relationship between the individual and the state, because of this status also derive political rights and freedoms. Until it is not interrupted in some way, it is a lasting relationship between the state and individuals, although it does not matter if individual is in state or not. One of the consequences of citizenship is that only the citizen can enter in different relationships with the country. Each state regulates its own regulations in force in its territory. Although a long time ago the French Civil Code provided that a French woman who married a foreign got his nationality, today we do not have such regulations.
Keywords:citizenship, national citizenchip, dual citizenship, permanent bond, citizenship of the European Union, regulations.
