Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljeno, kaj je neverbalna komunikacija in kako poteka v medkulturnem prostoru. Prikazane so različne oblike neverbalne komunikacije. Prikazano je, kakšen vpliv ima kultura pri interpretaciji gest v medkulturnem prostoru. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da je interpretacija obrazne mimike kulturno pogojena in da nam dobro poznavanje medkulturnih razlik pomena gest ter kulture pripomore k učinkovitejšemu medkulturnemu komuniciranju in sodelovanju v poslovnih okoljih.

Title:GESTURES AND NONVERBAL REACTIONS IN DIFFERENT CULTURES
Abstract:In this diploma thesis it is presented what nonverbal communication is and how it takes place in a multicultural environment. There are shown various forms of nonverbal communication. There is shown what impact has the culture in the interpretation of gestures in a multicultural environment. It was found that the interpretation of facial expression is culturally determined and that good understanding of cross-cultural differences gives us the importance of gestures and culture contribute to more effective intercultural communication and collaboration in business environments.
