Abstract:
Pravica palestinskega naroda do svoje države je nesporna in utemeljena na podlagi načela pravice narodov do samoodločbe. Palestina še ne izpolnjuje povsem kriterijev državnosti, določenih v Montevidejski konvenciji o pravicah in dolžnostih držav – kriteriji ozemlja, stalnega prebivalstva in sposobnosti vstopati v razmerja z ostalimi državami so izpolnjeni, izpolnjevanje kriterija oblasti pa ni povsem zanesljivo.

PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW
Abstract:
The right of the Palestinian people to their independent State of Palestine is indisputable and founded on the nation's right to self-determination. Palestine is currently not satisfying all the requirements of statehood stated in the Montevideo convention. While the criteria of population, territory and capacity to enter into relations with other states are fulfilled, the criterion of government is not yet indisputably met.
