Title:OSEBNOST IN RAZVOJ NAVEZANOSTI

Abstract:V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela smo raziskali literaturo o človekovi osebnosti in navezanosti. Pišemo o tem, kaj so osebnostne lastnosti ter kako opredelimo področja osebnosti. Podrobno predstavimo petkfatorsko strukturo osebnosti; ekstravertnost, sprejemljivost, vestnost, čustveno stabilnost in intelekt oz. odprtost. Za vsako dimenzijo opišemo značilnosti in dodamo še poglavje o merjenjenju osebnostnih lastnosti. Predstavljamo mnenja različnih avtorjev o vplivu dejavnikov na razvoj osebnosti. V naslednjem poglavju nas zanima, kako poteka razvoj navezanosti in kateri so najpomembnejši vplivi. Poglobimo se v štiri različne oblike navezanosti; varnost, izogibanje, upiranje, dezorganiziranost. Poudarek damo poglavju Povezanost osebnosti in navezanosti, kjer nas zanima obojestranski vpliv ene na drugo. Preučimo možne posledice, ki jih lahko pusti ne-varna navezanost otroka na starše otrokovi osebnosti. V empiričnem delu raziskovalne naloge raziščemo, kako pogosto se pojavljajo različne dimenzije petfaktorske osebnostne strukture. Zanima nas katera oblika navezanosti se pojavlja največ in katera najmanj. Zapišemo mnenje dr. Beriča, ki nam je v intervjuju podal svoje praktične izkušnje o tej temi. Podatke za raziskavo smo pridobili s pomočjo odgovorov na vprašalnike, ki smo jih zbirali v treh vrtcih. Ugotovili smo, da so osebnostne značilnosti otrok povezane z razvojem navezanosti. Z magistrsko nalogo smo dobili pregled v kvaliteto navezanosti, ter staršem in drugim, ki se ukvarjajo z vzgojo, varstvom, učenjem in poučevanjem predšolskih otrok dokazali, da z ravnanjem ter odnosom v neki meri lahko vplivajo na razvoj osebnostnih lastnosti in navezanosti.

Title:PERSONALITY AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ATTACHMENT
Abstract:In the theoretical part of the master thesis we have studied the findings on human personality and attachment. We write about what personality traits are and how to define different areas of personality. The Five Factor Model of personality, including dimensions like extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability and intellect or openness has been presented in detail, furthermore a description of personality traits typical for each dimension and a separate chapter about measuring personality traits have been added. Next, we have listed the opinions of some authors about the impact of specific factors on the development of personality. We are interested in how attachment actually develops and which are the most important factors influencing this process. We take a closer look at four different forms of attachment: secure attachment, avoidance, resistance and disorganised attachment. Special emphasis has been put on the connection between personality and attachment, in particular on their mutual impact on one another. Last but not least, we are discussing possible consequences of ''unsafe'' attachment of a child to his parents on the child's personality. The empirical part of the thesis involves a research, the aim of which was to determine how frequently do various dimensions of the Five Factor Model of personality actually appear in reality, but also to find out which form of attachment is the most frequent and which the least. We have supported our findings on the thoughts of Dr. Berič who shared his practical experience from the field with us in a personal interview. Research data was obtained by questionnaires and gathered at three nurseries. Results have shown, that personality traits in children are closely connected with the development of attachment. The main goal of the research was to get an overview over the existing quality of attachment among children today, but foremost the findings are aimed at showing not only parents and everybody involved in the process of raising children, but also people involved in educational and other activities of pre-school children, that our actions and the relationship with the child can have a certain degree of impact on the development of personality traits and attachment in children.
