Title:DESIGNING BOOKS FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract:Books help us learn about the personality, relationships between people and the interpretation of the world we live in. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce books to the children in early childhood , as they help children to learn how to express their feelings with words, concepts and thoughts. Books also encourage children's imaginative play, represent fun for them and help them to discover new ideas. Books for preschoolers must be created in an interesting way. The job of a graphic designer is to create its content and visual image to form a whole that makes sense. In order to do that he must first be familiar with all the components of graphic design and with the target audience to whom the product is intended to. That is the reason of introducing the child's development, perception and education of the preschool children in the theoretical part . We also introduced the theoretical aspect of graphic design. In the empirical part we studied what graphic designers must pay attention to when designing books for preschoolers. Graphic designers are the ones who must be able to link the content of the book into a meaningful whole. Graphic design affects how the pre-school children comprehend its content. It is important to select photo gallery, as well as choosing a format itself and binding books. Pre-school children are also enthusiastic when graphic designers include different senses and thus make the book much more attractive and interesting for the reader.
