Title:	PRIMERE V DELIH JOSIPINE URBANČIČ TURNOGRAJSKE

Abstract:	Josipina Urbančič Turnograjska je bila mlado, nežno in zasanjano dekle. Izjemno je uživala v naravi, svoj prosti čas je najraje preživljala v »senčnici« na domačem gradu Turn in pisala povestice. Bila je izjemno verna in predana svoji domovini, ki jo je ljubeče imenovala kar »majka Slava«. Na svoji kratki življenjski poti ji je uspelo ustvariti presenetljiv opus, kar 38 povestic in 3 pesmi. Njeni prvi teksti so bili eksemplarične narave, pozneje pa je zelo rada pisala predvsem tekste z domoljubno tematiko. V njenih pripovednih delih še posebej izstopajo ženske literarne osebe, že pretirano poveličane rešiteljice naroda. Sprva so dela Turnograjske zelo kratka, nato se daljšajo, podoben razvoj opazimo tudi ob njenih primerah, analiza katerih predstavlja težišče diplomskega dela. V zgodnjih delih jih uporablja redkeje, poznejša dela so z njimi bogatejša, primere pa so tudi bolj dodelane. Primere Turnograjske sem glede na primerjalne člene razdelila v različne tematske skupine, pri čemer sem ločila primere iz pesniškega in proznega opusa. V njenem pesniškem opusu osrednje mesto zavzemajo primere iz tematske skupine religiozni svet, pogoste pa so tudi take, ki so povezane z dragimi kamni. Primere iz proznega opusa sem razdelila v 14 tematskih skupin: človek, živalski svet, rastlinski svet, nebo in nebesna telesa, svetlobni pojavi, zvok in akustični predmeti, vodni svet, vremenski in atmosferski pojavi, geomorfološki pojavi, kamni, umetni predmeti, religiozni svet, pravljični in mitološki svet ter pojmovni, abstraktni in čustveni svet. Primere Turnograjske so tradicionalne in trdne, precej preproste in naivne, prežete z elementi iz žive in nežive narave. Njihova funkcija je v glavnem ponazoritvena. Večinoma ostajajo na realni ravni, njihova zgradba je lepo razvidna. Primerjani in primerjalni člen sta najpogosteje zvezana z veznikom kakor, sledi kot, pojavijo pa se tudi modalni vezniki. Tretje v primeri je največkrat izraženo z glagolom, redkeje se zrcali v skupni lastnosti. Prevladuje konkretizacijski semantični mehanizem. Primere so v glavnem prvostopenjske, le nekaj je razširjenih.

Title:	SIMILES IN LITERARY WORKS OF JOSIPINA URBANČIČ TURNOGRAJSKA
Abstract:	Josipina Urbančič Turnograjska was a young and dreamy girl. She adored nature and loved spending her free time under her “natural pergola” - located somewhere near her home Turn Castle - writing her short stories. She was extremely religious and devoted to her homeland; lovingly named by her as “Mother Slava”. Throughout her short life she managed to create a remarkable literary opus, namely 38 short stories and 3 poems. Her first texts were of exemplary nature, later she wrote texts mainly with patriotic theme. Especially female literary characters, even excessive glorified saviours of the nation, are present in her narrative texts. At first Turnograjska’s literary works were very short but then they became longer; a similar development may be noticed in her similes, the analysis of which represents the focus of my diploma thesis. In Turnograjska’s earlier texts similes are used less often than in later texts. I divided similes into different thematic groups, considering both – poetic and prose opus. A central part of her poetic opus form similes from thematic group religious world; quite often used are also similes associated with precious stones. I divided similes in prose opus into 14 thematic groups: human, fauna, flora, sphere and celestial bodies, sounds and acoustic objects, water world, weather and atmospheric phenomena, geomorphological phenomena, stones, artificial objects, religious world, fairytale and mythological world, conceptual, abstract and emotional world. Turnograjska’s similes are traditional and fixed, rather simple and naive, imbued with elements of animate and inanimate nature. Their function is mainly illustrative. They remain on realistic level, their structure is clearly visible. Compared and comparative article are most commonly linked with the conjunction kakor, follows kot, sometimes we have even modal conjunctions. Most of the time tertium comparationis or the third (part) of the comparison is expressed with the verb, rarely with common characteristic. What prevails is illustrative semantic mechanism. Principally, her texts include first-level similes; extended similes are in the minority.
