Abstract:
Diplomsko delo vsebuje teoretično osnovno znanje SQL, podrobnejši opis osnovnih lastnosti in izgradnjo OLAP kocke. V praktičnem delu smo v okolju ORACLE gradili PB in tako pisali SQL poizvedbe. Za praktičen primer smo si izbrali trgovino, ki se ukvarja s prodajo multimedijskih produktov. Prikazovali smo pridobljene rezultate v obliki OLAP kocke.

OLAP IN SQL STANDARD
Abstract:
This diploma work is about the basics of SQL and it contains a detailed description of the features of the OLAP cube and an instruction of how-to make an OLAP cube. The practical part of the dissertation is about the construction of a database in ORACLE environment with appropriate SQL queries. A multimedia products store was chosen as an example for the construction of a database in ORACLE environment. The results are represented with an OLAP cube.
