Abstract:AI Polnaravni ekstenzivno gojeni travniki predstavljajo vrstno najbogatejše habitate v zahodnih, severnih in osrednjih predelih Evrope. V magistrski nalogi smo želeli ugotoviti, s kakšnim režimom košnje (oz. s kolikšno pogostnostjo košnje) ohranjamo značilno vrstno in funkcionalno sestavo vrstno bogatega mezotrofnega nižinskega travnika. Raziskava temelji na florističnih popisih in proučevanju 18-ih morfološko-funkcionalnih potez (MFP) rastlin.

Title:Influence of cutting on species and functional composition of mesotrophic lowland hay meadows
Abstract:Semi-natural meadows are among the most diverse and species rich habitats in Europe. Land use changes (intensification or abandonment) in the last decade have profound effects on the structure of vegetation, therefore the semi-natural meadows became threatened biodiversity hotspots in Slovenia and throughout Europe. The present research introduces the effects of different cutting regimes on biodiversity conservation of species rich mesotrophic lowland hay meadow. The study is based on floristic releves and study of different plant morphological-functional trait (MFT).
Keywords:cutting frequency, disturbance, meadows, plant morphological-physiological traits
