| Abstract: | We all say that we live in a society of knowledge, high technology, continuous rapidly expanding progress in virtually all fields, and how we are aware of the importance of human and especially knowledge. However, the importance of knowledge for the performance of the company and employees, as individuals, should not be a dead letter, just because it is "modern" to write about this today; but it takes a serious approach to the integrated management of our knowledge, which should follow both, trends in the environment as well as those that are indicated by a specific environment. Knowledge has a short shelf life, so it has to be constantly updated with various forms of learning, and it is important that the newly acquired knowledge may be useful in work, that it means changing habits and patterns in the direction of greater efficiency and better management. In the presented company the indicated understanding is at a high level, as shown by the ambitious vision. To achieve this, we first have to make an assessment of maturity of the environment.
In the theoretical part, therefore, we reasoned in particular the role of learning and development of the employees, and the importance and proper regulation of specific areas of the process of employee education.
In the empirical part, in accordance with the purpose of the thesis, we first approached to evaluating the effectiveness of the existing system of employee education, with an emphasis on critical analysis. Based on the identified strengths and challenges of the current system, we further approached the cross comprehensive proposal for the development of the field of knowledge acquisition, and optimization of the system for measuring the effectiveness of education.
With the critical analysis and research, we evaluated the effectiveness of the existing system and, inter alia, found a high level of awareness of the responsibility for learning, desire, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, understanding the objectives of learning in the change of the behaviour at work, pride of membership in the company, and the link between the satisfaction with the education system and the management of the immediate superior leader. Based on the identified exemplary and effective management of employee training, we have made proposals to upgrade the foundations with the systematisation of work oriented to knowledge and concretisation of the targeted employee training. Furthermore, we have made proposals for development of the areas of knowledge acquisition with new forms such as e-library, e-forums, and workshops for learning, and a proposal to optimize the system for measuring the effectiveness of education from a fully operational point of view. In all our proposals, we followed the principle of a significant impact on the effectiveness and comprehensive treatment of employee education at work. |
