Abstract:V tej magistrski nalogi smo se posvetili analizi prednosti uvedbe SEP2W sistema v švedsko elektro distribucijsko podjetje.

Title:ADVANTAGE ANALYSIS OF ADVANCED METER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION INTO SWEDISH ELECTRO DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
Abstract:In this master’s thesis we focused on analyzing the advantages of introducing SEP2W system into Swedish electric distribution company. In the thesis we also showed that the introduction of our new system had many advantages compared to the client’s old system called A-collect. Since the main reason for the introduction of SEP2W was to capture hourly values we focused mainly on the advantages that this added functionality brings to all concerned parties. With these additional captured data we can now successfully produce accurate estimates of short-term load forecast for electrical grid. These predictions can then with their proper use greatly benefit distributors and end consumers in their effort to reduce costs. The capture of hourly data is otherwise necessary, but by itself not sufficient condition for the realization of cost savings associated with the production and consumption of electrical energy. For a mutually successful reduction of energy costs distribution companies also need to introduce dynamic pricing and timely transmissions of information off these dynamic prices to final consumers. In this thesis we also tried to analyze advanced meter management system in terms of systems theory. With the help of Powersim we constructed a simplified model of a system in which the hourly captured data again proved to be a great advantage in providing up to date feedback.
