Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi so predstavljene metode zagotavljanja kakovosti storitev (angl. Qualitiy of Service - Qos). Opisanih je nekaj primarnih vzrokov, zakaj je mehanizem potreben in nujen za zagotavljanje želenega cilja in brezhibnega pretoka podatkov v računalniških mrežah. Jedro diplomskega dela je predstavitev integriranih (angl. Integrated Services - IntServ) in diferenciranih storitev (angl. Differentiated Services – DiffServ). Skupne ugotovitve in tehnike storitev so podkrepljene s simulacijskimi poizkusi v grafičnem mrežnem simulatorju (angl. Graphic Network Simulator 3 - GNS3). Opazovali smo konfiguracije posameznih metod in analizirali dobljene rezultate. Cilj diplomskega dela je preučiti metode zagotavljanja kakovosti storitev in jih testno uporabiti v grafičnem mrežnem simulatorju.

QOS IN SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT GNS3
Abstract:
The following diploma thesis presents the methods of ensuring Quality of Service – QoS. The primary reasons, why the mechanism is necessary and urgent to provide the desired goal and seamless data flow in computer networks are described. In the core of the thesis the Integrated Services - IntServ and Differentiated Services - DiffServ are demonstrated. Common findings and technology of services are supported by simulation experiments in the Graphic Network Simulator 3 - GNS3. The configuration of the individual methods was examined and at the end an analysis of the results is given The aim of the diploma thesis is to examine methods of ensuring quality of service and to test them in the graphical network stimulator.
