Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je predstavitev fotonapetostnih sledilnih sistemov in upravičenosti njihove uporabe. Obravnavane so komponente, delovanje in vodenje takšnih sistemov.

Title:ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL VIABILLITY OF THE INVESTMENT IN PHOTOVOLTAIC TRACKING SYSTEMS
Abstract:The purpose of the master's thesis is to present of photovoltaic tracking systems and eligibility of their application. Components, operation and control of such systems are discussed. A practical example of a solar power plant with solar tracking systems Deržič, quantity of electricity generated and the amount of revenue from production are presented. The analysis carried out shows costs of installing the system and the time period of the investment return is calculated. The same analysis was also done in case of the power plant from 2014. Based on the results of both analyses it is indicated whether the investment in photovoltaic tracking systems is economically and technically justified or not.
