Abstract:	Cilj diplomske naloge je oceniti ekonomske parametre prireje mleka na domači kmetiji in nato s pomočjo teh podatkov oceniti rentabilnost investicije v gradnjo novega hleva oz. adaptacijo le-tega. V raziskavo bodo zajeti glavni ocenjevani parametri prireje mleka: vrednost kmetijske proizvodnje, skupni stroški, koeficient ekonomičnosti, lastna cena in finančni rezultat. Na koncu bo narejena še kratka primerjava analize investicije glede na to, ali je hlev grajen na novi lokaciji s pridobitvijo gradbenega dovoljenja ali pa je grajen na obstoječi lokaciji vključno s porušitvijo obstoječega hleva. Rezultati kažejo, da je prireja mleka na kmetiji ekonomsko upravičena. Gradnja hleva na obstoječi lokaciji se ob upoštevanju 5,5 % letne obrestne mere ne bi povrnila v 15 letih, prav tako se gradnja na novi lokaciji ne bi povrnila v 16 letih. Smotrno bi bilo, da kmetija za investicijo pridobi 50 % nepovratnih sredstev, saj bi se po takšnem scenariju investicija povrnila že v 12 letih.

Title:	Economic viability of investment into dairy cowsheds: new construction or adaptation
Abstract:	The goal of the diploma paper is to assess the economic parameters of milk production on home farms and then use that data to assess the economic viability of an investment into the construction of a new cowshed or adaptation of an existing one. The research will include the main assessment parameters of milk production: value of agricultural production, total costs, coefficient of economics, cost price, and financial results. At the end there will be a short comparison of investment analyses for a cowshed built at a new location after acquiring a building permit and for a cowshed built at the location where the existing pen was demolished. The results show that milk production at the farm is economically justified. The building of a new cowshed at an existing location, considering the 5.5 % annual interest rate, would not bring a positive return after 15 years and building at a new location would not bring a positive return after 16 years. It would be reasonable for a farm to secure 50 % of investment in form of grant funds which would enable a positive investment return in 12 years.
