Abstract:V projektni nalogi diplomskega izpita primerjamo šest modifikacij stanovanjskih enot vrstnih hiš.

Title:Modification of housing units in row houses
Abstract:In the thesis we compare six modifications of housing units in row houses. We examine the influence of floor plan geometry and the shape factor on the energy consumption of individual models with proportion of glazing and location kept constant. The changes in energy consumption of detached single-family houses are compared to west, middle, and east units of row houses. In addition, an example of a row house development is designed based on the model's optimal shape. The theoretical part presents an overview of the history and basics of row houses, together with an introduction to the wood and energy-efficient construction.
Keywords:energy-efficient building, timber construction, row house, modification, shape factor
