Abstract:	Diplomsko delo opisuje implementacijo programa, ki omogoča infografsko predstavitev časovnih serij ter pridobivanje in testiranje značilk, s katerimi zmanjšujemo dimenzionalnost časovnih vrst. Časovne vrste so ponavadi visoko dimenzionalne, eden od načinov zmanjšanja števila elementov v njih je izvedba algoritmov za pridobivanje značilk, s katerimi poizkušamo na krajši način opisati elemente časovne serije. Časovna serija predstavljena z značilkami, je namreč primeren vhod za algoritme strojnega učenja. Za boljše razumevanje smo v dokumentu najprej opisali podatkovno rudarjenje, časovne serije ter infografsko predstavitev, nato pa smo na kratko predstavili še značilke, njihovo uporabo ter njihove značilnosti. Sledi opis načrtovanja in kratka predstavitev samega razvojnega okolja v katerem smo program izdelovali. V glavnem delu naloge smo opisali sam program, njegove funkcionalnosti, čemu je namenjen ter celoten postopek izdelave, na kratko pa smo predstavili tudi grafični izgled. Na koncu smo dodali kratek primer uporabe izdelanega programa ter predstavili rezultate oziroma uspešnost, ki smo jo z aplikacijo dosegli.

Title:	EVALUATION OF FEATURES AND INFOGRAPHIC PRESENTATION OF TIME SERIES
Abstract:	Thesis describes the implementation of program for infographic presentation of time series and getting and testing features for time series reduction. Time series are usually multi-dimensional, one way of reducing number of elements in it, is execution of algorithms to obtain features, by which we try to a short way to describe the element of time series. Time series presented by the features is suitable input for machine learning algorithms. For better understanding we have described data mining, time series and infographic presentation, which is followed by briefly description of features, their use and characteristics. We continue with a description of the plan and brief description of development environment in which we have produced the program. In the main part, we described the program itself, its functionality, what is it intended for and an entire manufacturing process, in short we have also introduced graphical appearance. Finally, we added a short example of program usage and present short results or performances, which was achieved with the application.
