Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi sta predstavljeni strojna in programska oprema podjetja SIEMENS. Predstavljen je zgodovinski pregled razvoja pomnilniško programirljivih krmilnikov in pripadajoče programske opreme. Podrobneje je predstavljena strojna in programska oprema SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-1500. V okviru diplomske naloge je podrobneje opisan krmilni sistem s centralno procesno enoto SIMATIC S7-1516-3 PN/DP. Prikazana je uporaba TIA portala. Prikazana je tudi uporaba krmilnega sistema za avtomatizacijo učnih objektov.

Title:
USING THE SIEMENS S7-1500 CONTROLLER SYSTEM
Abstract:
In the following thesis I have presented two angles; software and hardware; of the SIEMENS company equipment. I have looked into the historical timeline of development of programmable controllers and their complementing software. The thesis contains an analysis of the hardware and software of the SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-1500 controller. I have performed a detailed description and breakdown of the controller system SIMATIC S7-1516-3 PN/DP. To conclude this thesis I have also described how to use the TIA site and how to operate the controller system, that is dedicated to automate educational facilities.
