Abstract:	Podjetje Štore Steel d.o.o. je proizvodno podjetje, ki se ukvarja s kontinuiranim vlivanjem jekla. Valjajo standardne palice različnih oblik: okrogle, štirioglate in ploščate, v obratu hladne predelave pa izdelujejo tudi izdelke po naročilu strank. V uvodnem delu diplomskega dela smo na kratko predstavili podjetje Štore Steel, njihovo sodobno proizvodnjo in tudi zgodovinsko ozadje. Prvo poglavje diplomskega dela temelji predvsem na teoretičnih osnovah, kjer smo se osredotočili predvsem na pojme distribucije, infrastrukture in suprastrukture ter logističnih procesov. V drugem poglavju smo se poglobili v obstoječe stanje v podjetju, kjer smo komentirali dogajanje in organiziranost posameznih proizvodnih obratov, kot so prodajno skladišče, hladna predelava, jeklarna in valjarna. Notranji transport se izvaja na dveh prometnih vejah in sicer z vagoni po železniških tirih ter s prikolicami po cesti. V diplomskem delu smo dali velik poudarek na opisovanje slabih in dobrih lastnosti obstoječe infrastrukture. Ugotovili smo, da je infrastruktura, ki povezuje obrat hladne predelave s prodajnim skladiščem, nezadovoljiva in neracionalna, saj je speljana okoli celotnega podjetja, namesto direktno iz enega obrata v drugega. Poleg obstoječe infrastrukture v podjetju smo opisali tudi obstoječo suprastrukturo, ki bi jo prav tako bilo potrebno še podkrepiti, na primer povečati število vagonov ali zamenjati stare za nove. V zadnjem delu pa smo podali nekaj rešitev za izboljšanje notranjega transporta, ki je eden od glavnih dejavnikov za uspešno poslovanje podjetja. Na podlagi kritične in SWOT analize smo razmišljali o morebitnih izboljšavah, osredotočili smo se predvsem na povezavo hal prodajnega skladišča in hladne predelave z železniško infrastrukturo in na podaljšanje proge žerjavov do oddelka hladne predelave, pri čemer smo razmišljali, kako bi pri tem lahko prihranili na času in denarju.

Title:	Reorganisation of transport and logistics processes in the company Štore Steel d.o.o.
Abstract:	Štore Steel d.o.o. is a manufacturing company that is engaged in the continuous casting of steel. They produce standard rolled bars of different shapes: round, rectangular and flat. But they also produce products according to customers' order and namely in the section of cold processing. In the introductory part of the thesis, we briefly introduced the company Štore Steel, its modern production and also its historical background. The first chapter of the thesis is based primarily on theoretical grounds, where we focused on the concepts of distribution, infrastructure, superstructure and logistic processes. In the second chapter we described the current situation in the company, where we have commented on the action and organization of individual production sections such as sales warehouse, cold processing, steelworks and rolling mills. Internal transport is carried out on two transportation sectors, through the wagons by rail and by road with trailers. In this thesis, we gave great emphasis on describing good and bad features of the existing infrastructure. We found out that the infrastructure that connects the section of cold processing with sales warehouse is unsatisfactory and irrational, because it is build around the whole company instead from one section to another. In addition to the existing infrastructure in the company, we also examined the existing superstructure, which would also be necessary to further substantiate, for instance to increase the number of wagons or commute the old ones for the new ones. In the last part of the thesis we presented several solutions for improving the internal transport, which is one of the main factors for a successful business. Based on the critical and SWOT analysis, we thought about possible improvements, where we focused primarily on the link between the section of cold processing and sales warehouse by railway infrastructure and we also focused on the extension of the crane track to the section of cold processing. We also thought about the one of the most important logistic parameters, which is saving as much time and money as possible.
