Title:ANALIZA UČINKOVITOSTI ORGANIZACIJE JAVNIH PRIREDITEV

Abstract:Študentska organizacija Univerze v Mariboru (Š.O.U.M.) v svoji strukturi povezuje Organizacijsko enoto študentske organizacije fakultete za organizacijske vede (OE ŠO FOV). OE ŠO FOV, ki že od leta 2000 pod okriljem Š.O.U.M., deluje v Kranju. Študentje, ki delujejo v OE ŠO FOV, organizirajo javne in interne dogodke za gorenjske študente. Eden večjih javnih dogodkov v OE ŠO FOV, ki zahteva obsežnejši delež financ, časa in virov, je Brucevanje FOV. V novejšem obdobju bolonjskega študija ugotavljamo, da se je začela študentska populacija, ki išče dodatne interese, manjšati, prav tako tudi finančni viri za organizacijo dogodka. Posledično pa upada tudi zadovoljstvo na dogodkih. Zato smo analizirali dogodek Brucevanje FOV 2012. Za organizacijo tega dogodka smo popisali procese organizacije dogodka, izmerili aktiven čas organiziranja vodje projekta, preverili finančno stanje, anketirali udeležence in ostale soorganizatorje dogodka. Na podlagi rezultatov smo poiskali alternativne rešitve v procesih organizacije, organizirali nov dogodek Brucevanje FOV 2013 in z istimi metodami analiziranja preverili uspešnost ukrepov. Po vseh pridobljenih rezultatih smo dogodka primerjali s pomočjo programa SPSS. Z organizacijo dveh dogodkov smo za današnje pogoje poiskali določene rešitve za dvig učinkovitosti organizacije javne prireditve.

Title:ANALYSIS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ORGANISATION OF PUBLIC EVENTS
Abstract:The Organizational Unit of the Student Organization at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (OE ŠO FOV) in Kranj, is part of the Student Organization at the University of Maribor (Š.O.U.M.), under whose patronage it has been since the year 2000. Student members of the OE ŠO FOV organize public and internal events for Upper Carniolan students. One of the more important public events that requires a fair amount of money, time, and other resources is the freshman party or 'Brucevanje' at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Since the introduction of the Bologna model, we have seen a decline in the number of students interested in additional or extracurricular activities as well as in available financial resources for the freshman party. As a consequence, there has also been a decline in satisfaction with the events. For this reason, we decided to analyze the freshman party of 2012. As part of our preparation, we made an inventory of all the processes leading up to the event, measured the time needed for the project leader to organize the event, analyzed the financial situation, and surveyed the attendees as well as co-organizers of the event. Based on these results, we developed alternative solutions regarding the organizational processes and used these to organize the freshman party of 2013. In order to test the success and usefulness of the newly developed solutions, we used the same evaluation criteria. After collecting all the data, the comparison of the two events was done with the SPSS program. By organizing two freshman parties, we were able to find certain alternative solutions and improve the effectiveness of the process of organizing public events.
